Add front springs

Whenever you are installing a suspension lift on your 20-24 Subaru Outback and carrying extra weight, RalliTEK overload springs are the best spring to use. Our exclusive dual-rate linear coil spring technology enhances off-road performance while allowing your lifted Subaru Outback to carry more weight and accessories while increasing ground clearance and reducing the dreaded Subaru “sagginess.”

No matter what weight you're loading your overload springs with - rooftop tents for overlanding, bumpers for hardcore off-roading - our Subaru overload lift springs can handle the capacity. With our proprietary spring technology, we improve off-road handling and predictability while maintaining Subaru's plush on-road ride quality. As a result of our lift springs, larger tires can be fitted for enhanced stability in inclement weather or on difficult terrains. Our suspension lift kits are equally at home in the hills, on the overland trails, in the snow, or on the interstates.

  • Estimated lift: 1/2"
  • More responsive handling and turn in
  • Increased approach and departure angles
  • Extremely improved off-road performance
  • Maintains factory on-road ride quality
  • Increases ability to carry more weight on the vehicle
  • Rear Spring rate: 355 lb/in
  • 40-45% stiffer than OEM
  • Lifetime warranty

Great improvement!

RalliTek's installation of their 1/2" overload springs front and rear has transformed our Outback. It greatly improved the load handling and performance of our Touring XT. It carries our camping gear without sagging and tears up forest roads and trails with aplomb. Even got us up Black Bear Pass to Bridal Veil Falls at Telluride!
Without a doubt the best upgrade we've made and the crew's installation was stellar, even finding and repairing a toe adjustment bolt the dealer had trashed. Thanks so much and Happy Holidays!!

Nice ride, not for towing

I bought the springs for the front and the overload for the rear hoping to reduce sag for towing. I have an XT and my trailer loaded is 2500lbs. It still sags and I am not sure much different from OEM. The ride is improved for sure, so these are definitely worth it for daily driving, but if your goal is towing, I am not sure these are the way to go.

Should be standard equipment!

If you are going to put more than a soccer ball in the back of your Subaru you should get these springs. If you are going to take friends skiing, biking, or to do any other activity that Subaru advertises their cars to be capable, these springs should be considered required.

I have owned 3 outbacks and all of them have had soft rear suspensions incapable of holding proper rear wheel alignment with much weight in the back, even when the sub-GVWR weight is spread/balanced in the car. These springs don’t completely fix the issue, but they help mitigate it. I have put these springs on my last two Subarus. The first time I bought the springs pre-mounted to shocks to mount on my car with 80k miles. This time I just bought the springs to replace the springs on my newer car with 30k miles. Next time I will buy springs and mount them the day I bring home my next Subaru.

If your car is new, replacement of these shocks is surprisingly easy via DIY (make sure you have access to a spring compression tool if you just buy the springs). There are several good YouTube videos on how to do it (one of them tells you to disconnect many parts of the suspension, another one says to just use a pry bar to extend the suspension to remove the strut…go with the latter!!!). If your car is older and some of the bolts are rusted I would recommend buying replacement lower mounting bolts for the strut and end links, as corrosion can make removal/reuse of these parts impractical.

Rallitek 1/2 inch overload sprins

I needed to tow a camper trailer and even though I was under the tow ball download rate the Outback XT saged excessively. So far, far less sag and still a comfortable ride

Shouldn’t have waited to get these

I got the rear overload and front spring replacement for my 2021 Outback that had been lifted with a Ralitek 2” spacer lift last year. The difference is night and day, I shouldn’t have waited to get the springs. The stock springs had sagged quite a bit after 50k and that pushed my alignment out causing premature tire wear. These springs got me back into alignment spec and actually added about an 1” of space between my rear tire and the top of the wheel well. The difference was immediately noticeable, but it wasn’t until I drove hundreds of miles through the Great Basin and Mojave desert that I really began to appreciate them. Everything felt smoother at high speed on dirt when fully loaded with camping gear. Get these springs, you won’t be disappointed.
