Putting the one inch spacer on my brand new Forester is about as easy as it gets. If you know how to change a strut assembly, putting the spacer on is about as easy as it can get.
I live in California and I like a level look in a car not a sloped front downward look. This one inch spacer leveled out my car with the factory wheels to look much better, and the handling and ride is exactly the same. Putting the spacer on the front actually elevated the rear as it leveled the front. So I now have over 9 in clearance under the transmission pan. Maybe down the road I might go to a one and a half inch spacer front and back with a 225x60x18 tire for another half inch ground clearance. And who knows I might even go with the upgraded coil springs when I get ready to change out the struts. Hope this all helps who read this.
