Some hatch sagging may occur, depending on whether the vehicle is parked on a level surface and whether outdoor temperatures are affecting the strength of the hatch struts. If this is a concern, we strongly recommend NOT purchasing this product.

This is my second ladder. I bought this one after they said it was the new version and wouldn’t make the hatch sag. Unfortunately, it’s exactly the same and makes my hatch fall back down after opening. Today it even tried to reshut itself on me while I was standing under it. It’s a solid piece and it’s well made, but it’s too heavy for the factory hydraulic arms.

fits nice ,but makes hatch sag
fits nicely, only complaint is that my hatch now sags about a week after installing, hatch will open all the way then drop half way instantly , still trying to find a hatch shock that will work for me , 2024 Forester wilderness
