This skid plate will not retain the lower facia bumper mounting on 2020-2021 STIs. This skid plate will bolt to the vehicle and the bumper can still be retained.

This makes oil changes just so much better while providing peace of mind and a definite functional style factor. Like others have found, I found the edges to be quite sharp, requiring a softening event involving a couple of pads of steel wool before installing. Installation was simple, involving just six bolts. Just be sure to soften the edges, especially surrounding the oil service areas, and you’ll be jazzed. All told, I have no regrets about this proper upgrade to my ride.

2015 STI Install
Well made product. My only gripes are the edges are a bit sharp so I had to do some filing and I also had to drill new holes to line up the hardware for installation. My guess is because the holes are drilled for an Impreza, not specifically an STI. Overall it looked great once it was on. It cleared my Killer B oil pan and aftermarket headers with no problem

A must have if you are off roading your wrx. Install was easy for anybody mechanical inclined and it looks great if you look under the car. Very functional and when dented can be pushed back. I’ve put it through the ringer and will definitely recommend!
