This lift spacer kit is designed to alleviate rear end sag on the 17-24 Subaru Impreza that are loaded with constant weight and overload springs are not enough. Confused/Irritated

I bought this kit, and after seeking out a custom Subaru shop for installation, I was informed that installing this kit without an additional Transmission Kit would cause, “Premature Damage to the Carrier Bearing.” And with the labor being upwards of $800, and them working on Subarus exclusively, I doubt their concerns are invalid.

This shop also can’t locate a transmission kit that they feel comfortable using with this lift kit either, so now I’m in the hole over $800 and there doesn’t seem to be a solution. Anyone who has bought and installed this kit, just be cautious. There could be problems down the road.

This is a renowned Subaru part manufacturer and there is no disclaimer for this issue whatsoever? I find it pretty disingenuous, and ugly across the board.

This is not correct. This kit does not need any form of correction on the transmission, driveshaft, or anything like that. The angles of the driveshaft will remain within the operating range of the U-Joints and will function as inteded.

If they had concerns about the kit they should have contacted us. We do have a carrier bearing spacer kit that will fit your model and help better driveshaft angles if they would prefer to do so but it is not required by any means. We have a lot of dealers across the country and we reccomend taking a look at the dealer locator on our website to find a shop better suited and more knowledgable when it comes to lifting Subaru's and what's needed.

Well built product and great fitment!

I personally installed the 2.5'' kit on my 2018 Impreza with a couple of jack stands and a floor jack. Not bad at all. Now I can enter driveways without scraping. Also make traversing Snow filled roads easier as the chassis is off the ground a bit more.

Turned into a Crosstrek!

Having the extra 1/2 lift in back gives a little more aggressive look. Bought with both front skid plate and CVT skid plate and threw on Falken Wildpeak A/T Trail 215/65/16 on the stock 16”rims. Rides smooth, very happy and ready to hit the trails!

Pretty decent kit

I probably should have gone with 2" F & 2" R kit as it sits a little funny higher in the back. I was anticipating more squat when loaded but apparently what goes in the back isn't as heavy as I thought. Otherwise, it fits great and is well designed.

Please send me an email to info@rallitek.com and we can talk about some options to get you in a better spot with heights. Most do not need the 2' front and 2.5' rear lift kit unless they have a decent amount of constant weight on the vehicle.
