Replaced OEM springs on 2023 Subaru Ascent

Replaced OEM springs on 2023 Subaru Ascent with 155,000 miles on it. Third time for front struts due to failure of OEM parts. Decided to beef up springs to maybe help with that. Replaced both front and rear struts with Rallitek springs in the assembly. Wow, what a positive difference and feel when driving city streets and interstates. Even my wife (who drives it as well when shopping on weekends) said, "it's better than the day you bought it... it's a lot better!!" Much more control and confidence at all speeds and all roads... should have done this a lot earlier.

Great for overload and adding Mt. Bikes /small trailer

I have the Rallitek 2-inch lift kit with subframe drop and Rallitek overload springs rear and Rallitek Sport Springs front on my 2020 Ascent and it is a great lift kit package. I have spent years now off-roading and exploring in Eastern Oregon and Idaho. The car has great ground clearance and I tow a small camper trailer. With the lift and Overload spring, this thing is super comfortable and gets way better fuel economy than my Jeep did. I also found off-road the vehicle is way more comfortable and compliant than my lifted Jeep Grand Cherokee was,

Helps With Squat While Towing

The rear springs reduced the rear squat by ~50%. However, the front springs resulted in the alignment to beyond adjustment without additional parts; so if you plan to replace the front and back; plan on some spacers and/or cam bolts. At the end of the day we traded in the Ascent. Beefing up the rear suspension can only do so much; when cold there was quite a bit of smoke from the engine and CVT slippage.
