Note for 3.6L models: The Skid plate oil drain cutout and oil filter cutout are still functional without removing the skid plate on the 3.6 models but are not perfectly aligned. The exhaust manifold covers/heatshields will also need to be removed on the 3.6 models. These heat shields are unnecessary because you no longer use a plastic splash guard when you have our skid plate.
Loose on sides, while driving on windy days, it would catch air flow and make one hell of a noise, this is after installing as per instructions, loosening and re tightening. Finally loosened, placed thick pieces of rubber and re tightened. No noise now.
