This unique design sandwiches the pinch welds on the Forester’s unibody for a rock-solid mounting platform. Unlike most round bar sliders and the market that flex and give up major ground clearance. With our exclusive design, there's no flex and you only lose 1/2" of ground clearance at the lowest part of the vehicle.

Rock sliders

Love the strength of the assembly. Have lifted both wheels off the ground to rotate my tires. I think this will finish the looks of my car

Great product but interferes with OEM door protector

Great product, rock strikes are louder than skid plates took some getting used to. The only issue is that it’s a little tight on the front driver and passenger side doors. The rock sliders don’t offer enough clearance for the plastic OEM door proctors and causing the door protectors on the bottom to pull away from the door shell. Not sure if there is a resolution to this issue.

We're glad you like them! In respect to the lower facia on the rocker panel, the lower portion of the facia on the rocker panel does need to be trimmed off where it leads down and interferes with the rock slider. Once that lower facia is trimmed the panel should fit nicer on the vehicle but if it isn't trimmed then the rockslider is trying to squeeze and pinch the plastic causing it to pull out.

BEEFY Sliders

These sliders are great! And will be plenty strong. However, they are HEAVY. So, being the tinkerer that I am, I'm going to cut them in half (from the outside in) and sandwich some aluminum rectangular tubing in between (T6 1x4x1/8) to return their structural strength.

We're glad you like the rocksliders. We do try to keep them as light as possible but with strength comes weight unfortunately and we wanted to design them to take the full weight of the vehicle coming down on them and not bend or have issues. We recommend keeping them the way they are as we have done a lot testing and designing to make them the way they are and will guarantee they work in there current state. is this rocks slidder can be use also as step tool to have access to a cargo box roof?

Yes, it can be used as a step and will support 330lbs as a step single individual we have tested 2 indivduals at 550 lbs total spaced out each end of the rock slider. It functions very well as a step.

Do the rock sliders not fit the forester wilderness? I see that was removed.

RalliTEK

The brackets are different for the standard Forester versus the Forester Wilderness. Subaru changed the mounting points we utilize on the Wildernes models. In the early years they did fit but somewhere along the line the body changed a bit prompting a bracket revision. We're in the process of getting those brackets and figuring out when they made this change so we can accuaratley sell the item to our customers.

Update: Just spoke with our engineer and he said those are actually ready to go! We just went through and listed them so there now available to buy!

Will these fit on a 2024 Forester Wilderness?
