Engineered well. Instructions could be better but installation is not too difficult. About 110lbs for the pair but gives real protection and a lift point along the whole length.

Nice heavy duty material but...
First the material is very heavy duty however, there should have been more time devoted to R&D to make them fit better. At this point I will include the instructions or LACK OF. There is no mention of having to remove the 6mm bolt from the pinch weld to get this to fit over that area. Nothing on having to remove the rocker panel plastics AND CUTOUT for the bolt areas of the skid. No template to put on car to drill the pinch weld for mounting. For the price point, it should definitely have extra hardware. So don't loose a bolt, nut or washer. Also the hardware should have been a better grade stainless steel. I have a feeling they will need to be replaced down the road due to rust. The powder coat is very thin. The set you shipped to me already had powder coat missing in some areas that I had to paint. The metal needs to be finished a bit better. I had a very large metal shard that came from the arrow punchout stab my finger. That is quite dangerous.
The good is they look awesome on the car and are quite durable enough to stand on. I get on them to put stuff on my rack. I will be putting them to the test in Joshua Tree on MLK weekend. I have seen Adventure Zombie on YouTube put a good beating on these. But PLEASE fix the instructions for what and where needs to be cut out. Make it comprehensive.
I would not recommend this item to anyone that is not adept to doing some modification/customization to vehicles and with proper tools.

Not terribly difficult to install. I really appreciate the way it also attaches to the pinch weld. I’ve bumped the rails on a tree and banged them on rocks and haven’t seen any denting/bending/loosening.

2020 Crosstrek
Install was a pain in the driveway, but the rock sliders seem functional. I went thru a couple of drill bits before I got smart and googled how to drill thru aluminum. I did have to trim a little plastic. They look great and seem incredibly solid. One thing I hadn't really thought about is that they function as a side step, so access to the roof is a lot easier now too.
