The Subaru CVTs have always had a distinct lag/delay/hesitation from a full stop/off the line. When you press on the accelerator pedal, there is a delay between the engine's acceleration and the vehicle actually beginning to move forward. As the vehicle ages, this delay gets greater and greater. By no means am I an aggressive driver or launching the vehicle to accelerate quickly. My vehicle has over 130k miles on it, and I could tell the factory mount was worn. Replacing it and adding this insert made a world of difference, and improved the response better than when the vehicle was brand new. Would definitely recommend to any Subaru owner with a CVT Transmission.
The new insert I purchased from you folks works great, I paired it with another after market tranny mount and both combined fix some of the issues I was having.
Let me start off this is a quality piece as I purchased the stiff insert. Vibration - yes you could feel it at start up and during driving. Sound, it develops humming sound around 50mpg and then goes away after 60. Hummm hummm hummm, probably due to vibration of transmission rotation. Since i missed the quiet cabin, i have removed insert as you could literally FEEL and hear. Definately not good for Outback driving. At least to me. Lol I may go for the softer insert later on.

What is the durometer rating of this insert? I've seen other inserts as soft as 60d cause additional drivetrain vibration and noise vs a stock setup. Does your soft version cause any additional vibration or noise on a 2.4L Outback XT?
The Soft is 70D and the Hard is 80D. Some people have said they feel like they've felt more noise and vibrations but we do not feel that this insert causes this in our testing and on our vehicles.
