KYB Excel-G Shocks and Struts
KYB is the world's largest supplier of shocks and struts to new vehicle manufacturers, and the Excel-G is built on the same assembly lines. It uses the very same high quality components that together work to restore the vehicle's originally designed capabilities such as handling and stability. The Excel-G is a twin-tube gas hydraulic shock that consists of an inner working cylinder and an outer fluid reservoir. The shaft and piston force hydraulic fluid in and out of both, which dampens the vehicle's body movement. Two multi-stage valves of the shock work to provide better handling characteristics during virtually all driving conditions. The working cylinder that the piston works in is also very important, that's why the experts at KYB use extruded tubing which provides a positive seal and consistent performance.

Ordered both the front kit and the back 3/4" raised springs kits, both arrived within days, lots of protection when packaged which is great. Front Kits were way easier to knock out for my 2015 Subaru Impreza sport limited wagon but that might be because I swapped them out in front of my house with no drive way and exposed to the Midwest elements when the Canadian fires where thrashing our Air quality index.
At first when i took my car off the jack stands,
i thought my car was now a SUV(Good IMO) but after getting the alignment and driving a couple of miles the car will sit at it's true height. Right away the turns felt better, i guess i didn't realize how bad my OEM struts were worn out. I was surprised that now with this kit I don't have to remember all the little bumps in my neighborhood as this kit brought back my Subaru to life.
Braking is better,
front no longer dips and you can tell braking is quicker now that all brakes are being used equally, Subaru's love curves but this kit keeps that lovely curve-hungry spirit for your car. I would give this review a 5 start but i can't cause now the long-term experience will complete that 5th star hopefully.
both set's come with the top-mount nut's required to attached to the body of the car,
struts come assembled as shown in pictures. I wouldn't necessarily take my car out on crazy dirt roads now but my Uber'ing will definitely be enhanced.
Solid choice for my 2015 Impreza, just enough lift to clear steeper driveways and bigger bumps in the road but not so much that it looks funny on stock wheels. Awesome improvement over worn out shocks and still a very good ride quality. Shipping was fast and shocks were well packaged. Definitely worth the money
