These skid plates are outstanding products! I have put skid plates on a previous Tundra and 4Runner, yet these skid plates are precision made, and easy to install. The aluminum plates are much thicker than other brands I have used in the past. I love the fact that there is a port plate to remove so you can drain your oil. I would recommend if you don’t have a second pair of hands, to use a transmission jack for the engine skid plate install, if you are performing this on a vehicle lift.
These are great skid plates.
My local shop in Lower Mainland, Burnaby, near Vancouver, BC Canada, has installed them without too much of a trouble.

I really like these skid plates. The installation was a little challenging for me, but I got it done. Some of the bolt heads are massive and hang down, reducing clearance. I just ordered the dome washers to hopefully protect them. I would suggest that RalliTEK find a way to design skid plates with recessed areas for the bolt heads. I love the added protection of the 1/4” thick plates.
And 2026 outback?
We do have a skid plate package designed for the 2026 Outback XT! However, we do not yet have skid plate solutions for the non-turbo Outback models. I can confirm that we do plan on releasing skid plates for the non-turbo models here soon!
