KYB Excel-G Shocks and Struts
KYB is the world's largest supplier of shocks and struts to new vehicle manufacturers, and the Excel-G is built on the same assembly lines. It uses the very same high quality components that together work to restore the vehicle's originally designed capabilities such as handling and stability. The Excel-G is a twin-tube gas hydraulic shock that consists of an inner working cylinder and an outer fluid reservoir. The shaft and piston force hydraulic fluid in and out of both, which dampens the vehicle's body movement. Two multi-stage valves of the shock work to provide better handling characteristics during virtually all driving conditions. The working cylinder that the piston works in is also very important, that's why the experts at KYB use extruded tubing which provides a positive seal and consistent performance.

New custom struts for my Subaru Forester XT MTS. I described what I was looking for in the new struts and the RalliTEK team member knew exactly what I needed to meet my objective of less lean in cornering with my stock struts without creating a harsh ride. These Stuts are exactly what I wanted and it made a huge difference in the handling without compromising my comfortable ride. I bought this Forester new in 2004 and have had it for 22 years and it’s never handled or ridden better in all that time! Purchased these for my 05 L.L Bean Forester to replace the rear SLS system. Would highly recommend these! The feel super stout and solid. Been driving for a week in them and they are so stiff but feel great. Ill be looking to do my fronts in the future as well. Only "complaint" is the price is a bit high but RalliTek sells quality.
I had the 0” lift for my 07 FXT both front and rear. Installed it and fit exactly as my oem. Build quality is top notch. Ride is a bit more firm and stiffer probably need to change some of the bushings on the other suspension components to compliment the new struts. No clunks or any weird noises and have been riding on it for few hundred miles now. For those looking for complete strut assembly like me I would definitely recommend this route.
