just a little tall off the hood. i’ve seen others a little lower but not sure if it would impact light beam/performance. BUT THEY WORK AS ADVERTISED.

Pretty sturdy. Not the greatest. They make contact with the hood which they did supply door edge guards to slide on the hood to stop it from rattling. Could’ve been made to not contact the hood at all. Not that impressed

We're sorry you weren't thrilled with the product. The reason we do this is because most ditch light brackets on the market have issues with the light or bracket hitting the windsheild when the hood is opened. We wanted to not have this happen but in order to fit them in there tight spot you have to hold them really close to the hood. We include the edge gaurds so there is no risk of damaging your paint on your vehicle as the light moves during driving.

Supposedly made for a 2025 Crosstrek. Had to modify otherwise it would have been resting on the hood and causing damage. Will replace with LP Adventure mounts here soon. Disappointing but i didn't want to deal with the hassle of sending back.
