It comes with a washer and shim that both can fit on the piston rod shoulder. No instructions on where this shim lives above or below the strut mount bearing?

Our strut mounts do not come with a washer, and shim. These are included with your OEM strut. We recommend to follow the OEM assembly guide when putting together these struts.
