Great Light, Bracket Needs Some Work

I just installed the SAE amber lights with the conversion kit on an Outback 2023 Limited XT, and it took some back and forth. The end result is good, but I had to do some redneck engineering on things... The bracket for these lights seems that the tabs to fit the original OEM mounts needs to be a little longer as they pop out easily under tension from the two fasteners, and the centering of the mount for the mount needs to come back about 1/16" or offset. It's hard as heck to get the lights centered in the original hole and you have to put tension on it to get it to stay in the plan that you want and tighten everything down - a centering ring would be awesome and help tremendously. As for the wiring adapter, I did have to splice on the 2023 XT - there was no matching harness or connection, and the directions on the reversing of polarity in the color wires was wrong for me - I had to pull the front end off again and flip everything. Like I said, I'm happy with the results, but I have to nudge the lights to stay level every now and then. I think the mounting adapter could definitely use an engineering review and for the price, an actual plug to go from Baja to the OEM Outback would be the cat's meow.
