This is the Kartboy short throw shifter for the 1998-2004 Forester, as well as the 2003-2006 Baja. This will reduce the shifter throw by up to 40%, providing a noticeable difference in feel as well. These will also reduce your shift knob height by 1”. The Kartboy shifter is constructed of CNC’d and TIG welded 4130 Cr-Mo steel. With proper hand tools installation should take right around 30 minutes. 

This shifter is hand made in the U.S.A., and 100% guaranteed.
