I purchased the three piece set and the trans plate started to make loud cracking stress noises. Removed and replaced flat on floor as directed by Ralitek. Still creaks and pings over every bump. Front and diff are OK but I had to remove Trans plate so now I have an expensive piece of scrap metal in my garage. Cannot recommend Trans plate. Others are okay.

We're sorry you were not satisfied with the transmission skid plate. We've sold hundreds of these skid plates and have them on 4 of our company vehicles including our 2024 Crosstek Wilderness. We have not ran into this issue on our 2024 Crosstrek Wilderness but have had it happen on our 2021 Outback. When it happened on our Outback we found the skid plate was binding up as the chassis was trying to flex over bumps and uneven road. Once we un-torqued and re-torqued the bolts with the vehicle on the ground it went away and hasn't happened since. It seems to be an issue with the procedure of it being installed and or something about your vehicle specifically that is causing the issue. We've only heard a couple times of this issue over the years of selling this skid plate so there has too be something unique about your instance or scenario causing for the issue.
