Underbody Protection Package - Fits 20-23 Subaru Crosstrek
Our Underbody Protection Package for the 20-23 Subaru Crosstrek includes our engine, transmission, and differential skid plates. This triple protection off-road armor package forms a highly durable underbody protection kit with a much larger coverage area than other skid plates on the market. These undercarriage skid plates will protect your Subaru from costly trail damage and are highly corrosion-resistant over steel skid plates.
These aluminum Subaru skid plates are proudly manufactured in the USA and are the most durable underbody protection on the market. Our skid plate design is a bolt-on system that seamlessly integrates onto your vehicle's underbody for a nearly impenetrable armor package. With this Subaru armor, you can focus on the trail ahead instead of worrying about vehicle damage. When adding off-road suspension to your Subaru to be more capable of adventuring further, RalliTEK body armor parts are mandatory to add to your vehicle.

The engine skid plate is a good upgrade from the OEM plastic. It's quality aluminum sheet and fit and finish was excellent.
I wound up returning the differential skid plate as even with the bolts torqued sufficiently, it made my differential leak.
The transmission plate was bent on arrival with one of the taller mounting tubes way out. I was surprised by the minimal protection in the packaging. It would not go on, had to take it to a local welder to be straightened and rewelded. All of the fasteners that were supplied for this project were just thrown in the box, no bag. This may have been a result of the package being opened at customs.
I reached out to Rallitek and they were good to work with and went out of their way to offer options to fix the situation. I went from a disappointed customer to someone that will be a return purchaser.
Hello Darcy,
We apologize that this was your experience.
We confirmed with our team that we do not put loose hardware in boxes and it is bagged and ziptied to the skid plates when shipped. It sounds like shipping handler was rough on the box and or it's possible it got opened in customs and not repackaged properly.
The wrong bolts may have been installed on the rear differential skid plate as the hardware that is used for the engine skid plate and differential skid plate are the same size of bolts just different lengths. This likely happened because of what happened with the package.
We are more than happy to help you get the proper parts that are in good condition as we do not want our customers experience to be like this. I have sent you an email and we would be happy to swap the parts out for new one's.
Skid plates seem extremely well made and fit perfectly even on Canadian Outdoor trim Crosstrek. Hardware is top quality. Cross border USA to Canadia shipping and package handing was terrible. Shipping box completely torn and if the hardware contents was not packaged in a big bundle would have likely spilled out during transit for sure.
I love my new underbody protection! It went on easy enough solo with a little undercar yoga. The instructions were good and all the hardware was present. It'd be good to have torque specs for all the fasteners. I was conservative and ended up with a little noise. I torqued everything down a bit and it's all good. This is how my Crosstrek should have come from the factory along with the Bilstein B6s and Rallitek springs.

Wanted to protect my investment, so got this first!! Easy install, single person, using only jack stands. Perfect fit!! Do not skimp on the 'dome washers', get them. Great accent & will protect/prevent bolt-head from taking full brunt. RalliTek, one suggestion. List bolt torque specs for ALL sections. Not just the rear differential unit. Thanks!!
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! We're glad to hear that the Underbody Protection Package was easy to install and provided a perfect fit for your Subaru Crosstrek. Our dome washers are definitely a must-have for added protection. Thank you for your suggestion, we will make sure to list the bolt torque specs for all sections in the future.
Was looking for an underbody protection package with a thinner front skid plate - I didn’t want to waste the available power on my 2022 Crosstrek Sport by adding unnecessary weight. In my experience adventuring with my Subarus (I’ve had 4), the front skid plate takes a lot less beating than the transmission or differential skid plates. It is mostly used to keep vegetation out of the engine compartment, prevent rocks spit inward from the front tires from getting involved with spinning engine parts, and to minimize water spraying onto hot engine cases. If you are scraping heavily across rocks with your front skid plate, you are going to put major dents in your exhaust system further back. So a 1/8” front skid plate seems better than a heavy 3/16” skid plate for that application. Fit was perfect and install took 20 minutes. After 2000 miles on trails, zero problems. I got the bolt protectors for the front skid plate and appreciate the hole for making oil changes easier. I had to retorque the attachment bolts after a few months, so watch for that.
