The RalliTEK Transmission Mount Insert Bushing for the 4EAT Transmissions is designed to install directly into your factory Subaru transmission mount to reduce excess wobble or drivetrain movement caused by soft or aging OEM rubber. By firming up the mount, this insert delivers noticeably improved shift feel, faster response, and a more connected driving experience.

Soft (Street): Ideal for daily-driven vehicles with minimal increase in NVH
Hard (Race): Designed for track-focused use; will increase NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness). The hard/race insert can be used on street-driven cars, but expect increased drivetrain noise and vibration.

This product was great . My 2001 Forester would shake horrendously, but after installing the transmission shifts much nicer and the shake has diminished. Would recommend.

Good product
No issues with installation or performance.
Rectified alot of drive line vibration.
I imagine if i had healthy control arm bushings i would have even less or nondriveline vibrations caused by after market cv axles

The insert work very good I still have a little wobble but much better I have put new cv shafts on the front had a real bad wobble now its much better still would like to get rid of the rest of the wobble I am asking if there is anything else that would help with the wobble

Transmission Mount Insert Bushing
Bushing came well packaged and with some lubricant for insertion process. Using a small benchvise to fit the insert to the mount I found some outer lips of the insert needed to be trimmed off with a sharp Stanley knife.
This was to allow some relief during the start of the press fit proceedings in the vice. The supplied rubber lubricant helped this fitting process as described in video.
The transmission now is held tight with some flex in the mounts.
No more rattling on ignition start up and more confidence in off road driving.
