The new strut kit raised the center line of the hitch pin from 22” to 22.5”.
With 490 lbs. tongue weight the stock suspension lowered the hitch pin center line to 19.75”. The same load on the new suspension height is 20.625”.
The ride became more firm but not harsh. Handling has improved. Trailer sway also appears to have improved. No test yet on I-90.
