Easy to install

Great improvement over 260k mile OEM struts that I had. Easy to install (after you get the bolts off) good ride, still needing an alignment before I can really stand by 5 stars.

Noisy springs, bottoms out

First the positives: good fit and finish, easy install, good instructions.
Negatives: Struts now make a stomach-churning clunk when driving through depressions in the road, and sometimes the system bottoms out where it did not with the tired stock suspension. Vehicle is otherwise stock. Checked all fasteners to torque. Alignment shop searched for a cause and agreed that it’s the springs that may not be seated well in the strut. Separately, the “ghost walk” kit in the back is terrific, really reduced body roll in turns so it’s fun to drive this wagon again. New endlinks up front made no difference in performance.
