The actual skid plates are good and wider than other brands. I can hear a slight engine noise increase due to resonation, but no rattling, which is great. The transmission skidplate came with last 2 bolts of bigger diameter and longer than the thread in the nuts on my car frame, where they had to be screwed in. I ended up spending a bit of time looking for the bolts that fit in hardware stores, but ended up finding it online. It is a little bit thinner and lighter than other brands’ skid plates, but hopefully it’s strong and I’ll never have to test it. I'm satisfied with the purchase so far.

Fitment was and install was good. Unfortunately for the 6 cylinder model outback the skid plate needs modification to fit properly. Skid plate has to be pushed up against the exhaust to bolt up to the car. Noticed with the plate installed, and everything tight it rattles alot, to the point its annoying.
