Whenever you are installing a suspension lift on your 15-19 Subaru Outback and carrying extra weight, RalliTEK overload springs are the best spring to use. Our exclusive dual-rate linear coil spring technology enhances off-road performance while allowing your lifted Subaru Outback to carry more weight and accessories while increasing ground clearance and reducing the dreaded Subaru “sagginess.”

No matter what weight you're loading your overload springs with - rooftop tents for Overlanding, bumpers for hardcore off-roading - our Subaru overload lift springs can handle the capacity. With our proprietary spring technology, we improve off-road handling and predictability while maintaining Subaru's plush on-road ride quality. As a result of our lift springs, larger tires can be fitted for enhanced stability in inclement weather or on difficult terrains. Our suspension lift kits are equally at home in the hills, on the overland trails, in the snow, or on the interstates.

We recommend running the Overload springs for unweighted and weighted driving of up to 450 lbs. Super Overload springs should be used when permanent fixtures on the vehicle like rear tire carriers, rooftop tents, storage systems, etc. meet or exceed 450 lbs. These items should stay on the vehicle at all times.

When running the Super Overload springs we highly recommend doing the Bilstein B6 struts to get the best ride quality and drivability results.

  • Estimated lift: 3/4"
  • More responsive handling and turn-in
  • Increased approach and departure angles
  • Extremely improved off-road performance
  • Maintains factory on-road ride quality
  • Increases ability to carry more weight on the vehicle
  • Rear Spring rate: 355 or 460 lb/in
  • 30% or 50% increased spring rate
  • Lifetime warranty
  • Made in the USA

RalliTEK recommends performing an alignment anytime suspension or other steering components are changed or replaced.

Can now tow the camper

The 3/4 inch lift springs stop the sag I had with the stock springs. Ride is a little stiffer, but that was a trade off worth making so I could tow my camping trailer.

3/4” overload springs.

I purchased these overload springs for our 2015 Outback because when we haul our bikes and gear the rear sags about 3”.
The springs came in a reasonable time frame, about a week. I installed them myself, I have installed several lift kits before so know what I am doing. However I do wish there were some instructions specifically with the spring placement to the top and bottom of the strut. I had to search for some videos on you tube. Which didn’t show what I was looking for. Nevertheless I did get it back together. The ride height ended up being 1 3/4 higher than stock height, It has settled a bit to about 1 1/2 Which now makes the front to low. I ended up buying front springs to level off the car. Overall the ride is decent, not to firm, not to soft. Just different. I tested with 2 heavy e-bikes on my Kuat Nv2 rack and the car only sat down 1/2” and didn’t wallow in the turns as it did before with the stock shocks. Overall I am happy with the purchase.

Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for our 3/4' Lift Rear Overload Springs for your Subaru Outback. We are glad to hear that the installation process went smoothly and that you are satisfied with the results.

We apologize for any confusion with the placement of the springs and will make sure to include more specific instructions in the future. We appreciate your feedback and are always looking for ways to improve our products.

We are happy to hear that the ride height is now at a more comfortable level and that the car is performing well with heavy loads. Thank you for choosing our product and we hope it continues to meet your needs.

Great Way to Eliminate the Squat

I had added quite a bit of weight to the rear of my 2017 Forester XT and these springs completely eliminated the ugly squat AND improved my departure angle off-road. Highly recommend.

Overload springs

Overload springs- it’s nice to know that the back end of my Subaru Forrester isn’t gonna get loaded down anymore with six bags of groceries it stays flat the way it should be!! I especially love this fact when I load up the car for going out and going camping!!

Perfect modification

I had the RalliTEK 0” Lift Front Sport Springs and the RalliTEK 0” Lift Rear Overload Springs installed on my 2014 Forester XT Touring and they are the perfect modification if you are going to be carrying heavy loads in your Forester. These springs eliminated the rear end sag and makes the vehicle look more balanced when loaded and unloaded. The ride is firmer, cornering is better I no longer worry about scraping when my vehicle is fully loaded.

The first trip I took in my Forester I kept scraping the back end because of the weight of all the camping and photography gear. After installing the RalliTEK 0” Lift Front Sport Springs and the RalliTEK 0” Lift Rear Overload Springs I have never had this problem again.
