These sliders are great! And will be plenty strong. However, they are HEAVY. So, being the tinkerer that I am, I'm going to cut them in half (from the outside in) and sandwich some aluminum rectangular tubing in between (T6 1x4x1/8) to return their structural strength.

We're glad you like the rocksliders. We do try to keep them as light as possible but with strength comes weight unfortunately and we wanted to design them to take the full weight of the vehicle coming down on them and not bend or have issues. We recommend keeping them the way they are as we have done a lot testing and designing to make them the way they are and will guarantee they work in there current state.
