Bilstein B6 Shocks and Struts
Developed for a variety of applications, including sports cars, sedans, coupes, trucks, and SUVs, Bilstein performance shock absorbers and struts have been designed to provide improved handling and ride control without sacrificing comfort. Fade-free performance is achieved by using high gas pressure, monotube design with a large diameter shock body.
Bilstein's patented design allows the excessive heat from the oil to transfer to the outer surface of the shock body and dissipate more efficiently. The dividing piston also permits the oil to expand as heat builds, preventing aeration (foaming) and viscosity loss. This allows the shock to maintain full damping characteristics as temperatures rise.
The tube of a Bilstein gas pressure shock or strut is fabricated using a special extrusion method. This process achieves an extremely tight peak-to-valley tolerance and maintains consistent wall thickness. Bilstein's seamless monotube design provides superior tube strength while maximizing heat dissipation and shock life.
Additional advantages, based on development strongly influenced by the motorsport industry, include greater stability, better road handling, and accurate steering. This combined with extremely high-quality manufacturing and materials means Bilstein's will last approximately four times as long as the Original Equipment.

I’m very pleased with this purchase from Rallitek. They are suspension parts. Parts are top quality, and Subaru outback has a better quality suspension than it did before.

Great performance upgrade for overloaded outback
We have a roof box and bikerack and when we were loaded up with the kids it was sagging pretty bad. I wasn't looking for a lift but for something to handle the weight better. The B6 struts and 1/4" lift springs are much better at supporting the load. Sits at a more stock ride height when fully loaded. When not loaded it sits maybe a 1/2" higher than it did before. I like the ride quality improvement – feels more supported in cornering and but not too bumpy. You do feel some of the smaller bumps more but nothing that bothers us. Thumbs up.

All good but the front strut mounts
This set of struts makes our 2017 Outback ride better than new! Only trouble I had involved the front strut mounts. They wiggled and had a good amount of play in the bearing even though they were brand new. Replaced them with Subaru strut mounts and all was as it should be. I’m sure they wouldn’t have failed but the slight wobble noise would’ve bothered me to no end. I reached out to Rallitek about the issue and they had no solution other than “run them- they won’t fail”. For this price you should be getting a OEM-or-better quality with all of the parts, in my opinion. Expect to pay another $100-$200 for strut mounts on top of this kit if you want it to be entirely noise-free. Otherwise, a great set of struts!

200 mile on road review
Should have come from Subaru with this suspension. Slightly firmer ride. Ride height looks great with stock tires. Handling feels sportier fun to drive. Rear end does not sag with 400lbs of weight. I did not give 5 stars because I have not done any off road travel. Very satisfied with RalliTek kit.
