I bought this 3/4” overload spring package and mounted them on Bilstein B6 shocks. Transformed the car! With lighter stock wheels, the car handles really well and is just a little stiffer. With aftermarket wheels and BFG KO2’s the ride is softer but the springs handle the heavy tires like they should. I stay level with a lot of gear in my Outback. Would definitely recommend!
I purchased these springs so that I could tow my race car and they have removed 90% of the squat I was having - perfect. One thing to know (for us non-americans), is that "3/4" means three to four inches of lift, not three-quarters of an inch! I was hella surprised to have accidentally lifted my Outback so much, but it's growing on me :D
Paired with b6 struts it’s night and day. Smooth ride and stable at speed and over bumps and rough road. Major upgrade!! They’re very stiff and you will need a real shop spring compressor to mount them.
Could these be paired with an existing 2” spacer and subframe drop lift kit to gain additional clearance? I assume id habe to have adjustable rear arms which i do
Yes, our total lift will be 3+ inches. You will need our adjustable arm package and possibly a subframe drop when you are at 3-3.5 inches of lift. With a very good alignmnet tech you can get 2.5-3 inches of lift with our arm package and no subframe drop. It does take a lot of alignment adjust. Out company 2018 Outback has 3.5 inches of lift and has a subframe drop of 1.5 and our arm package. It is a great explore the country camping rig.
