Clutch Master Cylinder Brace - Fits 2008-2014 Subaru WRX & STI - 2008-2011 Impreza

This product bridges a connection from the pitch stop mount location over to the OE clutch master cylinder to eliminate movement in the clutch pedal and to provide increased pedal sensitivity and strength.

The 2008-2014 Impreza models are notorious for firewall failure issues. The number of spot welds combined with the thickness of the sheet metal Subaru used leads to flex in the firewall that over time will inevitably lead to structural failure and squeaky pedal noises. The repair is expensive and requires pulling the dash and pedal assembly in order to re-weld and reinforce. 

RalliTEK developed this brace in order to help prevent this common failure. Forces from the clutch pedal assembly are transferred by the brace evenly to the STRONGEST parts of the pitch stop mounting structure. In order to maximize the rigidity of the brace, steel was used for the entire construction of the brace. Clutch pedal feel is also more solid especially with aftermarket clutch kits with heavier pressure plate clamping force. In fact, this brace is made of 1/4" thick mild steel.
