Our new Subaru Outback Wilderness has good ground clearance, but we worried about the what ifs of roller over rocks and sticks. We saw Rallitek at an overlanding show and decided to add some more protection. This skid plate kit was a perfect fit and easy to install. It took me 2 1/2 hours in my garage. I used a carboard box to hold the skid plates close to the car and then lifted one corner at a time.

This last week we took the Subaru through a small river crossing to get to a lake we wanted to see. Apparently, the Subaru does not have much of an approach angle. As we drove up the other side of the crossing, we ran into a rock that stopped us. I backed up a little and moved over. Then, we went up. At the top I checked out the new skid plates. I can see were I hit the rock. There is a small dent on the front edge, but the skid plate did not bend or move. We were very glad to have had them. It gave us the confidence to go just a little farther. Thank you Rallitek for making such a great product.

Perfect fit for my 24 OBW. Cant beat the extra coverage and protection they give, and the extra thicc aluminum used beats out the competition. Only down side (like a previous reviewer mentioned) was the exhaust rubbing on the rear of the skid, easily rectified with a pair of stainless steel washers to clearance it out.

Extreme Underbody Protection Package - Fits 2020-2025 Subaru Outback XT

These are wide, thick and heavy. They cover more than any others out there. The only issue is the exhaust hits the front skid plate all the time at the back edge. This is on a 2024 model with 12000 miles, so it is not hanging down or defective on the cars part. I took some exhaust wrap to keep it from wearing a hole in my exhaust. Found out that just the movement of the engine, it still hits a little further up on the middle of the pan. You can hear it rattling usually in top gear with lower RPM. Other than that, no issues.
