The RalliTEK 2” lift kit for the 1998-2002 Forester is the ultimate parts list to get a 2" RalliTEK lift so you can clear up to a 235/75-15 tire*. Our kit includes 1" RalliTEK top hat spacers front and rear, 1" RalliTEK raised springs front and rear, our own adjustable trailing arm brackets, and camber bolts for the rear suspension to make sure you can dial your alignment back to OEM specifications. 

 

 

*DISCLAIMER: 235/75-15 tires may require additional wheel spacers in the rear to clear the strut and also some trimming to the fender liners and bumper and also pounding the front pinchwelds flat.

Relatively disappointed.

Despite the excellent build quality I am disappointed in the amount of information provided about the 2” lift for the SF Forester. The front struts are nearly topped out with the lift springs installed in the front, that being said more is required than simply installing this lift kit, and that being said the consumer should be aware of this information before purchasing this product or installing it on their vehicle.

We haven't had issues with that on our company 1998 Forester that we have done thorough testing on. The struts are close to the top of there travel unloaded but with the weight of the vehicle on the suspension it will compress to it's designated height. Being these cars are so old it's possible your struts are bad and need replacing. If problems persist we would reccomend switching to a 03-08 Forester strut as this is a better strut and has a bit more length to it and will be a bolt on fit for your car.
