Overload Springs (150-450LBS)
Worth it!
I bought the 150-450 version for the rear and installed them at home. After a little more than a month I can honestly say I'm super happy with them. They're definitely stiffer and stronger than XT springs, but not so stiff that they're uncomfortable. I really find they provide a good balance of performance and practicality.
Before installing these, my rear end would sag every time I went camping. That didn't happen at all with these installed. The only time they squished was when I moved to a new apartment and had my Forester super packed inside, with a full roof box on top, and a hitch basket full in the rear. But even then, I felt safe and under control the whole time. I also pulled a 5x8 covered U-haul trailer a few days later from LA to Sacramento with ease.
While I haven't gone off road on trails just yet, I'm totally confident that they'll have solid performance. With my old XT springs I had departure angle issues but I don't expect that at all with these given their stiffness.
