Our gas tank skid plates for the 2026 Forester are a much-needed upgrade from the flimsy stock plastic Subaru OEM skid plates. Our high-strength aluminum skid plates protect the Outback’s gas tanks from rocks, stumps, and unforeseen off-road debris.
Our skid plate design is a simple bolt-on install that offers more coverage and far more protection than the OEM Subaru skid plates. Just like our engine and transmission skid plates, these gas tank skids provide little to no loss in ground clearance when installed. Don’t get stranded while on the trail off-roading with a gas tank puncture. Our gas tank skids give you peace of mind when tackling the outdoors in Subaru off-road vehicles.
