Don't get me wrong, I love my '25 Outback Wilderness. It's got some actual rally DNA and a great powertrain. What it doesn't have are real skid plates. The one that Subaru touts as a skid plate is quite silly, and dare I say, a bit dishonest. It's a pie tin riveted to a plastic splash shield. Shame on you, Subaru. But Rallitek has provided me with "real skid plates". I have installed the front (radiator/oil pan) plate, the two fuel tank plates, and the rear diff plate. I have another company's plate under the transaxle scavenged from my old Subaru. The bottom line is now, with Rallitek equipment, my Wilderness is actually capable off road on real trails, not just trailhead parking lots. Outstanding products, outstanding, customer support, great company. Give them your business.

It arrived promptly but with the front corner dented, not sure if it was from shipping or slipped by QA. Otherwise a good product and easy to install.

Front skid plate is a quality product. Installation was easy. Be aware that the existing factory plastic lining will need to be zip tied to avoid flapping in the wind. There were no instruction about this. You will notice when you remove the factory skid plate that something is missing

After removing factory skid, I noticed it had substantial side walls designed (I think) to help keep debris and water from directly accessing the axles. Most of the aftermarket skids don’t have side walls so this is something that should be addressed. Easy to install though and no clearance loss.

Fits perfectly, only down side is the cost of freight to Oz, makes it uncompetitive to local units, shame because I believe it to be superior.

After you drill out all the rivets to remove the old one, this bolts right on. Took me about a half hour to remove the old and 5 min to install this.

Great fit. High quality for sure. Easy access for oil change. I did not have to modify this skid plate to fit my rally light bar, so that was an added bonus. I’ll get the other two skids before my next big trip.

I looked into a few skid plate options for my 2022 OBW and Rallitek came out to be my choice.

Rallitek engine/front skid plate didn't require me to remove H Plate and neither did it have a bumper guard requirement. This made the install process very simple. CVT skid plate worked the same way.

The only inconvenience was, that, it came with an incorrect size bolt set and then it took another week for replacements to arrive. I couldn't find matching bolts at the local store. I was barely able to get all the setup done just before the start of my trip.

Rallitek skid plates are slightly thinner than the competition and IMPO it may not make much difference. But, then again, it is an individual's personal choice plus comfort level.

After install, sometimes, you may hear underbody noise while braking or turning. It happens randomly and I am not sure what causes it. Didn't get a chance to check with the vendor though.
