Le joint Cometic MLS (Multi Layer Steel) est composé de trois couches d'acier inoxydable. Cometic utilise l'acier inoxydable pour sa résistance accrue, sa capacité à reprendre sa forme et sa résistance à la corrosion. Les couches extérieures du joint sont gaufrées et recouvertes des deux côtés d'un matériau à base de caoutchouc fluoroélastomère (Viton) conçu pour répondre aux exigences d'une variété d'environnements d'étanchéité difficiles, de conditions de charge et de finitions de surface.
<p>Cometic MXL Headgasket set for the Scion FRS and Subaru BRZ should be standard on any engine build you are doing. Cometic MXL utilizes an integrated stopper layer for combustion chamber sealing and improved clamp load around the cylinder without increasing bore distortion. MLX technology can be found in some head gaskets and are made from the same materials as our MLS Head Gaskets. No sealants or re-torque required.</p>
