What a fantastic option for the Subaru! The installation hardware fit PERFECTLY. The instructions were also incredibly well done and leave it to Rallitek to offer an installation video for reference, as well. I spent over $3k customizing my 2024 Outback Wilderness and bought it all from Rallitek. Why? Because of the support available. These guys are the best of the best.

This winch mount is excellent. the fit and finish are top notch and it adds that little extra piece of mind knowing that I now have actual recovery points and a winch to match.

The installation was mostly painless after I figured out that the mounting plate could be adjusted up or down by about an inch at the interface between the winch plate and the bumper. By simply loosening the side bolts and lifting the mounting plate I was able to get the fairlead mounting plate to line up perfectly with the template holes.

After everything was tightened down I tested the winch on an Impreza hatch on a steep hill and it winched back in with not trouble at all. Ill keep a snatch block in the tool bag just in case but the 5500lb Apex seems more than sufficient for the kinds of off-roading and storm cleanup I normally get myself into.

The only part that hasn't been sorted out yet is how to access the free spool, at the moment I'm motoring the winch out but eventually ill find a way to access the freespool clutch and it'll be a perfect hidden winch mount on the Subaru.

This hidden winch mount fits perfectly behind the bumper on my RalliTEK lifted '23 Outback Wilderness, and looks great. Everything was easy to install and the few minor cutouts for the fairlead plate were easy with a Dremel. The design and materials are sturdy and there is no drilling etc since the winch mount replaces the stock bumper behind the fascia. I also cutout and reinstalled the gold wilderness trim around the original tow hook points, and I think it looks more finished. Finally, a cheap job with aluminium to re-mount the licence plate (until Rallitek makes a new plate mount), and I mounted the winch remote outlet on the grill right below the forward facing camera. I can't wait for my next purchase from RalliTEK!

RalliTEK always saves all of the old parts including the associated nuts & bolts and they save the packaging of new parts making it easy to grab serial numbers, etc. They also seem willing to troubleshoot when an install doesn't go as expected. I'd recommend them for sure.

The material is very sturdy and well made. My only complaint is there is no install video on it and the instructions supplied are extremely basic and lacking. For someone like me (a novice), this took me forever to install. Looks good though! Rallitek just needs to go ahead and make an install video to include hooking up the winch and wiring and everything.

Went on easily, works great, would highly recommend.

The product seems great quality. The instruction photos differ slightly from my 24 OBW. A link to a video walkthrough would be great. However, if you couldn’t figure out the differences on your own, this is not DIY for you. A template for cutting the fairlead hole really should be in the box vs a print it yourself link. A rubber boot/grommet to fill in the gaps around the recovery points would add a more finished look.
Overall, very pleased.

First, just be aware that you will remove the original 'bumper' and replace it with this winch mount. Installation was straightforward. It does fit the 2023 OBW 'Limited' trim package - the one with that new hideous front facade. The recovery points are nice to have - I wouldn't try to use them for a dynamic / snatch recovery. I've been waiting for this (to come to market) for a year. The Subaru 'active grill' seemed to have everyone stumped. Turns out my '23 OBW Limited XT doesn't even have the active grill. Good product. Glad I bought it.
