The simple fact is the oils in your car work best when they are uncontaminated. Continuous friction of moving parts creates tiny metal particles that are measured in microns. A micron is one millionth of a meter. 25 microns is .001”… yeah, one thousands of an inch. Oil filters can remove particles larger than 35 microns, but what happens to the rest? They get circulated back through your engine wearing down your parts even more.

That is where Dimple comes in. Their magnets are the strongest high-temperature grade neodymium magnets in the world. They rip those smaller particles out of the oil stream. Regular neodymium magnets start to lose their magnetism at 175F but Dimple’s have been proven to hold their magnetism at well over 300F.

Two of these plugs will complement the rear differential pumpkin housing, one to replace the OEM fill plug and the other to replace the OEM drain plug. When the vehicle is moving, the thick rear differential fluid cascades all over the fill plug, thus it is recommended to use two magnetic plugs rather than just one.
